Long Shadows

Taken as your agile blogger chased the sun across the pond, past Blueberry Island

By request, here are the pictures of my snowshoes after I fell into the beaver channel, which is visible at the bottom of the photo.

*This pic was taken after I had wriggled out of the water a bit.

There's a thick blanket of snow on the ground. When I plunged the stick in my right hand into it, the stick sunk until my hand touched the snow.

We found the beaver lodge, complete with little chimney!

And then after finding the beaver lodge, I fell into their swimming channel! Granny laughed and asked me to stay put so she could take a picture.

And says "Oh snooks, this is what I've been waiting for all year."

Heading to the Cabin

Here we are about to snow shoe to the cabin. While most of the cousins happily let Granny hold them, Flat Baby Doll refused and instead insisted on standing on the snowshoe.

Beauty

There is a beautiful woman sitting next to me here at the doctors office. She is wearing gold earrings and jewels adorn her fingers. She clutches a sequined purse. When our eyes meet, I smile. She smiles back. Her smile, brightened by lipstick, makes her face kind.

After a time, the door to the waiting room opens and an old man walks out. "There you are," says the beautiful woman to her octegenarian husband, roughly the same age as she. Hand in hand, they walk out of the office and to their car.

And I am reminded me that beauty is very simply our way of reflecting Diving beauty and not limited by years or age.
